There’s no getting around it….
learning the piano is an awesome basis for any instrument!!
Besides the sheer beauty and overwhelming intricacy of the piano, the benefits of learning to play such a diverse instrument allow great possibilities in not only the classical world of music, but also for song writing, playing with other musicians and composing.
Playing the piano is really great for:
- learning the discipline needed for any instrument
- developing both sides of the brain
- co-ordination
- practice methods
- balance
- posture
- crossing the mid-line
- a love of music
- a knowledge of the classics
- song writing skills
- theory of music
- a knowledge of both the bass and treble clefs
- so, so much more!!!
For those interested in doing music exams, we are associated with an international school (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music) and regularly enter interested students in these exams. We offer easy, relaxed classes for beginners and more established players. Classes are one-on-one and so allow you to learn at your own pace.
Our piano teacher, Christelle, is passionate about beautiful music and thoroughly enjoys playing the piano. She is highly qualified, talented, funky and fun, and committed to continued growth in her instrument. She would love to help you create beautiful music and looks forward to teaching you to do this.
Christelle has achieved her Grade 8 in Piano through UNISA and can put more than 10 years of piano-playing-experience behind her name. She believes that everyone should have the opportunity to express themselves through music, bringing his/her own quirky sense of style into it.
Piano lessons are a perfect way of learning self-control and commitment, which can also be applied to every other area of life. And there is never a better time to start than RIGHT NOW!
