Today will go down in Star Gazers history as the day a trio was born!!  Ian and kelly were extremely excited to welcome Margot Smythe to our studios.  She is a phenomenal cellist, who has had a lot of experience in various orchestras!

Our first trio rehearsal went extremely well!!!  It is always challenging to play with new people, and to sight read, putting dynamics and expression in what you play, and I have to say tha, for someone who has never done any of this before, Ian did extremely well!!!  we are sooo proud of him, and know that this trio will only go from strenth to strenth!

Other news is that Matt has started a band with some of his students!  The band is called The Antidote, and he has started it with Seth and Luke!  The Antidote will be playing on Friday 28 October 2011, at our Halloween, Rocktober fest, at our studios!!! Come and party with us, as we dress as rockstars, get henna tattoos and celebrate Halloween, Rock music and.. life in general!!!
